12:37 pm - mad hatter's tea

Hello all,

The electronic invitations have been sent for our next tea event. i am VERY excited about this event as we will be creating our own Victorian-style tea hats. More accurately, we'll begin to create our hats. Our April event will likely be were we finish embellishing our hats. At any rate, if you are interested in being involved and yet have not received an invitation, please comment below.

Thank you, and best of tea!

3:57 pm - tea time!

Today's selection:

As described by the tea menu:
Black Duchess
This superior, prestigious, gracious blending of organic Darjeelings assists you in creating a stylish and genteel afternoon tea experience.

It's available from the Vintage Tea Leaf.

i love this tea and frequently stock it in my tea cabinet at home. i love the muscatel taste of a good Darjeeling and this blend is delightful.

11:29 am - Input needed!

Hello ladies,

The Ladies' Tea Guild national publication, The Gilded Lily, needs submissions for its Tea Pages feature.

To contribute, please post a reply to the following question and i'll see to it that our national director, Laurie, gets the information.

What was your most embarrassing tea time moment? Surely some of you must have a moment!

Hope to see some contributions! :)

Best of tea,

11:49 am - Welcome Back Tea Event

The eVite has been sent for the next event. i hope that by giving a month's notice we can have a good turn out for this event.

We'll be at the Vintage Tea Leaf tea room in Long Beach. It is a charming establishment with an amazing selection of teas! Attendees will be able to pick out their own tea cup from which to drink and may chose to wear one of the many vintage hats provided by the tea room.

If you've not been included on the invitation and would like to be added, please reply below.

4:11 pm - Spring time scheduling

Hello ladies!

i'm in the process of scheduling our Spring events and would love some
feedback as to when and what sort of events you'd like to see.

As of right now, we've a Springtime Tea to schedule and a Jane Austen
tea. The Springtime Tea will feature the language of the fan. The
Austen tea will have a book discussion, i was thinking of Pride &
Prejudice, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

Best of tea!

4:02 pm - Friendship Tea progress

Hello ladies,

The evite for the February event, the Friendship Tea, has been put together. If you have not received yours yet and want to be included, please reply below or email me.

i am very much looking forward to this event. i've spent the last few days selecting the tea favours, compiling the menu, and deciding upon decorations. It is looking as though this event will be the most elaborate yet! Certainly the most decadent in terms of lucious food. (i hope that no one has any allergies to sugar and chocolate.) Copies of this season's Tea Times will be on hand for everyone. Additionally, i'll have plenty of Practical Help booklets available should anyone desire to sign up for membership at the event.

Looking forward to seeing you all! Best of tea,
